Oak Meadows Ranch and Susan offer use of the ranch and their services to other Therapists asking the question:
Are any of your clients stuck? Consider referring them for EAP and/or EMDR to augment their therapy with you. EAP is experiential and encourages ‘ah ha’ moments. It promotes relaxation, being in the moment, good boundaries, self-awareness and other important skills.
EMDR promotes the healing of traumatic memories and facilitates changes in associated distorted self- beliefs to adaptive ones.
Team-building, and other relational skills are available to enhance relationships for businesses, couples and families using Equine Assisted Learning (EAL).
On a weekly basis Susan will be offering sessions, groups and workshops to those in need, including our Veterans, Police, Firefighters and all others needing help from traumatic situations or needing help in recovery from substance abuse at Oak Meadows Ranch.
Equine Therapy has been utilized since Roman times to help soldiers recover from wounds both mental and physical. Horses can sense a person’s needs and will appropriately offer comfort, confrontation or a reaction which mirrors a person’s intentions or emotion. This equine feedback enables change and healing for the soul.

We need the funding to build and complete the projects on the ranch to be able to help our Vets, Firefighters, Law Enforcement and all others suffering from PTSD, Anger, Grief, Trauma, Drug & Alcohol Addictions, Depression and Handicapped with horse therapy.
With your donation you can help us build the best treatment center facility here in Southern California. Handicap ramps and devices to help our Veterans and others that are suffering to get access to the horses for therapy. Adding water lines, electrical, grass, plants, trees and of course help feed the rescued horses.
